"Alchemist" are colorful kaleidoscope collaborations by Japanese artists Jun Kojima and Rika Kita. Each of the differing handmade ceramic scope bodies are unique, freeform works of art. These are available in varying mirror systems, each with a differing number of points, and they have oil-filled, non-turning, side-lit object chambers. Scopes measure approximately 5.75"L x 1.5" in diameter and each comes with a handcrafted wood stand.

Jun Kojima graduated from Tama Art University and has exhibited works in Karakow, Poland (2005). This artist considers making a kaleidoscope "alchemy", which leads the visitor to a different "dimensional world" the moment they look into the tiny eyepiece of his scopes.
