"Alchemist" are small, colorful kaleidoscope collaborations by Japanese artists Jun Kojima and Rika Kita. Each of the differing handmade ceramic scope bodies are unique works of art. These scopes come in either a 2-mirror, 4-point system OR a 3-mirror system, and they have oil-filled, non-turning, side-lit object chambers with internal colors that coordinate with the outside colors of the scopes. They measure approximately 4"L x 1-1/4" in diameter.

Jun Kojima graduated from Tama Art University and has exhibited works in Karakow, Poland (2005). This artist considers making a kaleidoscope "alchemy", which leads the visitor to a different "dimensional world" the moment they look into the tiny eye piece.
