Product Details
'Angelim Vermelho' is a fantastic handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Steve & Luanne Lelewer. The body was created from Angelim Vermelho wood, a very strong and dense tropical hardwood coming from South America, and features two inlaid stripes of absolutely gorgeous Pāua Abalone on the body and around the turning end. The object cell is oil-filled, turning, side-lit, with a black background and contains pretty lamp-worked glass, tiny seashells, assorted glass beads, twisted wire, dichroic (color-shifting) glass bits, and other sparkly items. The body houses a 3-mirror, 5-point system which creates stunning traditional “full-view" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 9.5”L X 2.75”Diameter at the viewing end. Marked with the artists logo and includes a wooden stand.
NOTE: Because each scope is individually handmade by the artist and nature, variations in style and colors of the abalone shells can be expected.
