"Anglerfish" is a whimsical handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Hiroshi Wakabayashi. This scope has a copper body in the shape of a fish, complete with fins, and gold polymer clay accents with glittery bits. His face is adorable with googly eyes and a "lure" to help "fish" in his dinner. This scope has either a 2-mirror OR 3-mirror system and produces beautiful, clear, colorful, polarized imagery. There is a turning, dry, 1.5" in diameter object cell filled with clear birefringent materials that change to colors when looking though the scope using bright lighting. Measures approximately 6"L x 3"W and comes with a wooden stand as pictured.
