‘Art Deco’ is a sweet double parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was created with panels of minty green glass, the front panel is a pretty Deco design in stained glass, with a handmade wooden base. There are TWO scopes inside the body, both a 2-mirror, 5-point (mandala-style) and a 3-mirror, 5-point system. The glass object cylinder is turning and oil-filled, containing assorted glass beads in varying sizes, handmade lampwork glass bits, and dichroic (color shifting!) glass shards, twisted wires and other interesting items. Together this piece produces magnificent, colorful kaleidoscopic imagery. Scope measures approximately 10.5"T x 2.5"W x 1.75"D, with the cell at 3.5"W. Dated (26), and signed (Sue Rioux) by the artist.
