'Beads on Blue' is a delightful, limited edition of only 4, handheld kaleidoscope by American artist and scope master, Charles Karadimos. The body is made with slumped glass in swirled blue, it has cute "beads" of glass pebbles accenting it along the top seam and features a flat bottomed side for resting the scope on instead of standing it on the cell. The turning, front lit, dry, glass object cell is filled with handmade glasswork bits and pieces, tiny glass ampules filled with itty-bitty beads, and has a translucent glass background featuring hand-painted drops of gorgeous blues and greens. The body houses a 2-mirror, 9-point system which produces meticulously detailed, absolutely beautiful, "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7.5"T x 3.75" at it's widest point and the object cell is approximately 2.5"Diameter. Signed (C.S. Karadimos), dated (2026), and numbered (1/4) by the artist.
