'Chateau' is an elegant handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Mizue Tatekawa. The body was constructed with six white glass panels that have a gorgeous iridescent rainbow sheen. This is a 2-mirror, 6-point system with a non-turning, oil-filled, black backgrounded object cell containing handmade glasswork pieces in super vivid colors, encased behind six textured dichroic (color-shifting) glass panels. The traditional "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagers this scope creates are absolutely sublime. Scope measures approximately 5.25"T x 2.25"W at the viewing end.
