'Copper Lace' is a vibrant handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Steve and Sherry Hopkins. The body was made from wood embellished with copper twisting up and around the body, embossed with the intricate interior fiber of a Prickly Pear Cactus, harvested and up-cycled in a process created by award-winning Jerome, AZ artists, John and Lauri Maeder. Each end has an acrylic "turtle shell" designed cap. This is a 2-mirror, 6-point system with an oil-filled, turning, side-lit object cell containing handmade lampwork glass, dichroic glass pieces and assorted beads, crystals, gems, copper, and features a small piece of cactus skeleton attached to the black background. 'Copper Lace' creates bright and gorgeous "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7"L x 3"Diameter at the viewing end.
