'Cosmic Bloom' is a stunning handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Kikuyo Kataoka. The body is made with four shiny black stained glass panels that have an iridescent rainbow sheen and it is completely gorgeous. This is a 2-mirror, 5-point system with a non-turning, oil-filled, black backgrounded object cell containing tiny, elegant, handmade lamp-worked pieces which together produce crisp and highly detailed "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Scope measures approximately 6.5" T x 2"Diameter at the cell end. Signed G.J. (GlassJam) by the artist.
