'Curly Maple & Padauk' (WHT) is a lovely wooden handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Benjamin Birdsill. The body of this scope is genuine Curly Maple and comes with Padauk wood end caps. There is a turning, oil-filled, white background object cell containing Ben's handmade glasswork pieces in bright colors, dichroic (color shifting) glass bits, wires and other sparkly items. Together these create gorgeous, vivid, traditional "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Ben's 'Curly Maple & Padauk' scopes are 2-mirror systems, with either 4-points or 7-points, depending on which style you choose. Scope measures approximately 7.25"L x 2" Diameter at the cell end and include a wood stand.
