"Daffodils" is a handheld kaleidoscope that is part of the 'Flower Series' by Steve and Peggy Kittelson. The barrel of this scope is slumped white glass with yellow glass daffodilis flowers which are tack-fused together, then fired with the white base to form the scope barrel. This scope has a turning end, side-lit, oil-filled object cell with a black background and is a 2-mirror, 6-point system. Peggy's beautiful, handmade lampwork glass is inside the object cell. Signed (Peggy Burnside & Steve Kittelson), named (Daffodils - Peggy's Garden), dated (1996), and numbered (#16 of 25). Scope measures approximately 10-½"L x 2-½" in diameter and comes with the wooden stand as pictured.
