'GEN' is a sleek and modern handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Tomoo Hosono. This scope has a brushed stainless steel cylinder body that houses a 2-mirror, 5-point system which creates gorgeous pentagon shaped kaleidoscopic imagery. There is an enclosed, non-turning, end-lit, double section object chamber with BOTH an oil-filled and a dry section. The oil-filled chamber contains handmade lampwork glass bits and pieces, the dry chamber features a free-floating, color shifting, polarized bits, all with a black background. The more light you use while enjoying this little work of art, the more vivid the colorful imagery becomes. Measures approximately 4"T x 1.25"Diameter and is signed and dated by the artist.
