'Golden Flame' is a spectacular, limited edition of 6, handheld kaleidoscope by American artist and kaleidoscope master, Charles Karadimos. The cone shaped body was made in a high gloss Black slumped glass with an underlying, textural, metallic Gold layer that is revealed as flames. The body houses a 2-mirror, 8-point system. There is a dry, turning, front lit, glass object cell filled with handmade glasswork bits and pieces, tiny glass ampules containing itty-bitty beads, and Dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces, with a translucent, frosty, gold flecked background. 'Golden Flame' produces crisp, meticulously detailed and absolutely beautiful "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 9.75"T x 2.75" Diameter at the object cell. Signed (C.S. Karadimos), dated (2025), and numbered (6/6) by the artist.
