"Hot Air Balloon - Black" is a lovely parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body is 4 sided with front panel being a ceramic tile with a gorgeous hot air balloon illustration, the other three panels in super glossy black glass with decorative golden glass rods to accent the design of the piece. This scope features two internal setups, both a 3-mirror and 2-mirror system, you'll get two scopes in one for double viewing fun! There is a turning, oil-filled, glass object cylinder containing assorted glass beads, dichroic glass, wires and other colorful bits and pieces, which all together create gorgeous kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 8.5"T x 6.75"W x 1.75"D. Signed (Sue Rioux) and dated (2025) by the artist.
