"Iris" is a handheld kaleidoscope that is part of the 'Flower Series' by Steve and Peggy Kittelson. This scope features a beautiful, fused glass Iris on a white slumped glass barrel. This scope has a turning end, side-lit, oil-filled object cell with a black background and is a 3-mirror system that produces a rectangular, chorus line image. Peggy's beautiful, handmade lampwork glass is in the object cell. Signed (Peggy & Steve Kittelson), named (Iris In Peggy's Garden), dated (1995), and numbered (#17/25). Scope measures approximately 10-1/2"L x 2-1/4" in diameter and comes with a wooden stand as pictured.
