"Jewel Under the Lotus", by Massimo Strino. The body of this piece is made from a copper and brass Tibetan incense holder and houses a 2-mirror system, creating an 8-point mandala representing the 8-fold path to enlightenment. The writing on the end-cap is the Mantra of Compassion (Om Mani Padme Hum), which translates to, "Jewel Under the Lotus." By meditating on each of the 8 points of this mandala you may achieve a blessed state of balance and harmony, or you may just want to enjoy the beauty of the mandala motion. The oil-filled object chamber, contains with a mixture of glass, crystal, and semiprecious gemstones, including Amethyst, Aquamarine, Garnet, Citrine, Iolite, Peridot, and Quartz. This scope measures approximately 11 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. Signed and dated by the artist. Includes a display pillow, as pictured.
