'Kaleidopod' is a cool, limited edition only five of each, handheld kaleidoscope by American artist and scope master, Charles Karadimos. The body is made in a mystical speckled slumped glass with a White underlay and has cute little nubby button accents. The turning, front lit, dry, glass object cell is filled with Charles' handmade glass-worked bits and pieces, tiny glass ampules filled with itty-bitty beads, and has a translucent glass background with specks of colors coordinated with the outer color. The body houses a 2-mirror, 8-point system which produces crisp, meticulously detailed, and absolutely beautiful "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 6"T x 2.75" at it's widest point, the object cell is approx 2"Diameter. Signed (C.S. Karadimos), dated, and numbered by the artist.
NOTE: The last two internal photos in this listing show an example how directing the light into the scope (the RED scope in this case) at different angles will change the effect light has on the imagery produced.
