'Kobore-Sakura' is a wonderful little handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Mizue Tatekawa. The body is constructed of White glass panels that have an iridescent rainbow sheen, accented with a stripe in metallic Pink glass, the side panels are a pale blue, are features three adorable glass flower adornments. This is a 2-mirror, 5-point system that features selective masking which creates "floral-mandala" kaleidoscopic imagery. There are TWO interchangeable object cells (held in place by magnets) containing delicate handmade lamp-worked glass pieces, one is oil-filled the other is dry. This charming scope measures approximately 6.75"T x 2.5"W x 2""D at the base, object cells are around 1.75"Diameter.
