'Miyabi' is a gorgeous handheld kaleidoscope by renowned Japanese artist Ichiro Seino. The body was handcrafted in fine ceramic with a pale mauve glaze and features raised wispy vines, accented in purple and plum with bright golden accents. The body houses a lovely 2-mirror, 8-point system with a turning, oil-filled object cylinder containing handmade ceramic ribbons, tiny glass beads, teeny glass rods, dichroic (color shifting) glass shards, a real pearl, and other colorful bits. This scope creates fantastically elegant "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 8.75"L and the cylinder is about 3.75"L. Signed with artist's logo (Ichiro).
NOTE: Although I didn't shoot any photos using one, this scope is UV Blacklight reactive.
