'Odyssey' is an epically stunning handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Peggy and Steve Kittelson. The body was made in turned Redwood Burl with Cocobolo wood that has been hand carved into an exquisitely bursting mandala design, on the viewing end. The anodized metal, turning, oil-filled, side-lit, black backgrounded object cell contains Peggy's own handmade lamp-worked glass pieces and dichroic (color shifting) glass bits. The body houses a 2-mirror, 3-point system with a hexagon (6-sided) frame. 'Odyssey' produces unique, bright, colorful, and completely GORGEOUS kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 10.25"L x 2.5" in diameter at the viewing end. Titled ('Odyssey'), dated (2023), and signed (Peggy & Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
