"Opus Y" is a fantastic wooden parlor kaleidoscope by Arny Weinstein. This scope creates 3-dimensional imagery, which cannot truely be appreciated with a one-dimensional photo as it is viewed with both eyes instead of the more commonly made "one eye" scope view. This scope has an interesting mirror system that produces an image with two different central mandalas. There is a 3" in diameter, oil-filled object cell that turns within the scope and is filled with handmade lampworked glass and dichroic glass pieces. Measures approximately 12"T x 11"L x 7"W at the base. Signed (A. Weinstein) and numbered (8/8) by the artist.
