"Pacioli" is a stunning parlor kaleidoscope by Marc and Susan Tickle.  The large black eye cap is slumped glass.  The sides are single piece hand-cut and painted by hand using paints that the artists made themselves.  The image is a combination of two past award-winning scopes, "Fibonacci" and "Eye of the Soul".  Pacioli was named after the great renaissance teacher of sacred geometry.  Central to the image in this scope is a three dimensional elliptical shape of dichroic glass, and "Eye of the Soul" image, only stretched out creating an incredible feeling of depth.  A mandala caps off each end of the elliptical shape.  This image is then repeated infinitely (as in the "Fibonacci") extending away from the viewer, to the sides, and even beyond them in every direction in a perfectly symmetrical form.  The outside of the scope is highlighted with slumped dichroic glass and dichroic windows, allowing extra light to illuminate the black backed liquid-filled object cell.  The object cell is filled with lampworked glass, millifiori, and kiln formed dichroic glass.  This is a limited edition scope.  It is signed (M+S Tickle), dated ('01), named (Pacioli), and numbered (4/15).
