"Painted Desert" by Steve and Peggy Kittelson is a handheld, polarized kaleidoscope that comes in 3 different body styles. There is brown/tan stained glass, textured blue stained glass, or Spalted Maple. Each scope has an anodized metal turning end, oil-filled, front-lit object cell with a textured dark glass end. Painted Desert scopes have a modified 3-mirror system that produces wonderful, bright, sparkling imagery. These scopes measure approximately 10-1/2"L x 2-1/2" in diameter and each comes with a wooden stand. Signed by the artists, named and dated.
