"Parasol" is a limited edition parlor kaleidoscope by Steven Gray. This was a groundbreaking scope by Gray containing the first Parasol image. Body is teak with ebony accents with a non-traditional mirror system that creates the unique Parasol image. This scope features a larger than usual viewing port which allows the viewer to see the internal images with both eyes. Scope is etched "Gray and Gray Woodwrights, #3, © 1988". Vary the images in this scope by turning the ebony knobs on either side of the scope. This piece measures 9-3/4"T x 7"W x 11-1/4"L.
