'Paula's Rapture' is a gorgeous collectors handheld kaleidoscope by American scope masters Peggy & Steve Kittelson. The Kittelson's created the body from black slumped glass that features fused gold, silver, and palladium foil under it's glossy surface. The body houses a 2-mirror, 7-point system with a turning, side lit, oil-filled, black backgrounded object cell containing Peggy's own handmade lampwork and many dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces. The completely spectacular and sparkly "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery this scope produces does not disappoint. Measures approximately 9.5"T x 2.25"Diameter at the viewing end. Titled (Paula's Rapture), dated (2010), and signed (Peggy & Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
