'Phenomenal - Purpleheart' is a lovely handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Chitoshi Takabayashi. The scope body features natural Purpleheart wood that is the most gorgeous shade of plum with a dry, non-turning, front lit, white frost backgrounded object chamber containing tiny handmade lamp-worked glass pieces with an internal polarizing filter which creates a soft, color-changing rainbow effect when using a bright light or the Sun to illuminate the inside. This is a 2-mirror, 6-point system that creates gorgeous and delicate classic "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 5.25"L x 1.75" Diameter.
