'Rose Window' is a cheerful handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artists, Yoshiaki & Keiko Onodera of K*Glass - Kaleidoscope. The smooth cylindrical body is a glass tube that is hand painted on the inside in the most VIVID swirly hot PINK alcohol ink. This is a spectacular 2-mirror, 12-point system with a glass, non-turning, oil-filled, side and front lit, textured transparent & iridescent backgrounded object cell containing delicate, tiny, handmade lampwork glass pieces, tumbled sea glass bits, an assortment of itty bitty beads, and other delights, in electric rainbow hues. Together these elements create absolutely gorgeous "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery, reminiscent of the circular, stained-glass windows found in gothic churches. Measures approximately 6.75"L x 1.5"Diameter. Scope arrives in a lovely custom box with information leaflets and a little wooden resting cradle. Signed (K*Glass) by the artists. Note: This scope is UV Black Light reactive, use a black-light flashlight on it and the body becomes VIBRANT NEON RED while object cell bits and pieces will vividly glow, causing the imagery produced to be completely altered.
