"Son of a Carousel" is a beautiful, musical, pedestal kaleidoscope by Italian artist Massimo Strino. This scope features a Swarovski crystal encrusted carousel with fanciful animals including an elephant, rabbit, lion, ram, horse, and camel. Wind up the carousel it and plays "Hello Dolly" as it spins and becomes the turning object for the scope. The scope includes a Swarovski crystal encrusted LED light on a chain, to provide extra illumination, which creates dazzling kaleidoscopic imagery when directed at the carousel. This kaleidoscope houses a 3-mirror system and the piece measures approximately 16"T x 11"L x 4.5"W at the base. This scope is titled (Son of Carousel), numbered (2/4 -25), dated (2025), and signed (Massimo) by the artist.
