'Squeeze Me' is an innovative (COLLECTORS ALERT!) handheld/parlor kaleidoscope by American artist and legendary scope creator, Steven Gray. This unique scope can be used as a parlor or handheld as the scope is easily removable from it's base. The maple and cherry woods that Steve has used to create the body have a hand-rubbed oil finish which brings out the grains of the wood. 'Squeeze Me' has a 2-mirror, poly-angular system with a wooden toggle on the side of the barrel that's used to adjust the angle of the mirrors, allowing the user to manipulate the symmetry and complexity of the optical patterns. The "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery is completely changeable and can have anywhere from 5 to 13 points! The turning, oil-filled object cell contains a variety of handmade lampwork glass pieces and dichroic (color shifting) glass which create dynamic images over a black background. Piece measures approximately 10"Tall x 9"Deep while on it's pedestal stand and the scope itself is around 11"L x 4"T x 2"W, the object cell is 2.5"Diameter. Scope is initialed (SG) by the artist.
