"Sunflowers" is a handheld kaleidoscope by Sue Rioux. The body was made with blue stained glass with copper-soldered trim, yellow decorative glass rods, and a dichroic glass accent on top. There is an oil-filled, turning object cylinder that contains seed beads, coiled copper wire pieces, and dichroic glass pieces in royal blues, oranges, whites and yellows. Sue has created a special effect by covering the 3rd side of the mirrors with a narrow photo of sunflowers, this creates a glowing tunnel of sunflowers agains a blue background. This scope has a 3-mirror, 5-point system and measures approximately 8"L x 5"W at the object end x 3"T. Signed by the artist.
