'Treasure Chest - 1992' is a rare VINTAGE/COLLECTORS handheld kaleidoscope set by American woodworking and kaleidoscope artist, Henry Bergeson. This Maple hardwood set includes a black velvet lined tray with a compartment under a swing-open door to keep the included items protected while not in use. The scope is a 2-mirror, 6-point system with a turning, removable, brass ringed object cell that also opens, allowing the various dry-cell objects Henry has included to be switched out, which means the absolutely gorgeous kaleidoscopic visual imagery produced is literally LIMITLESS. Any collector would be proud to have this fantastic set! Scope itself measures approximately 10"L x 2.75"T x 1.75"W, the display/storing tray is 12.5W x 7.5"D. Scope is signed and dated by the artist, hidden under the object cell.
Note: This is a 34 year old scope and most likely due to it's age a very small mirror line is visible but the entire piece is absolutely flawless otherwise.
