"Wishes" is a wonderful handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was created with absolutely gorgeous, iridescent, pearly cream/tan stained glass panels with glittery gold glass rod accents, a metallic glass jewel accent, and decorative copper soldering. The object drum is freely spinning, with color shifting dichroic glass pieces and lampwork glass pebbles in shiny and frosty textures. The body houses a 2-mirror, 4-point system that creates sharp, brilliant, kaleidoscopic imagery framed in a color flashing, iridescent octagon. Measures approximately 9.5"L x 3.25"T x 5"W at the drum, end to end. Titled (Wishes), dated(2024) and signed (Sue Rioux) by the artist.
