'Agate Lazy-Susan' is a cheerful, earthy parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Steve Failows. This handmade ceramic scope features a glossy, olive green and brown speckled, crackled vanilla glaze and a magnificent slice of natural Agate for it's base. A hand thrown ceramic "lazy-Susan" bowl and rotates on ball bearings, making a smooth viewing experience. Included with the scope is a disk with faux flowers attached that just pops into the deep bowl, and glass pebbles in a rainbow of colors are also included, but you can also add other items into the bowl such as spare change, jewelry, tiny ornaments, ... anything you can imagine, and turn them into wickedly cool kaleidoscopic imagery through the 3-mirror system. Endless possibilities for viewing enjoyment, this scope is a total "people pleaser" and would be a unique gift to give. Note: The last internal image is of the spinning bowl with nothing in it. Piece measures approximately 11.5"T x 10"D at the base, and the scope itself is about 8"L with the bowl at 6.25" Diameter.
