'CanaryWood & Padauk' is a lovely handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Benjamin Birdsill. The body is genuine CanaryWood with Padauk wood end caps, housing a 2-mirror, 5-point system with a turning, oil-filled, side-lit, black background object cell containing Ben's vibrant handmade glasswork pieces, dichroic (color shifting) glass bits, and other sparkly items. Together these create absolutely gorgeous traditional "mandala-style" kaleidoscope imagery. Scope measures approximately 7.25"L x 2" Diameter at the cell end and includes a wooden stand. Initialed (B) by the artist.
