'Chroma Wave' is a joyous, limited edition of 6, handheld kaleidoscope by American artist and Kaleidoscope Master, Charles Karadimos. The cone shaped body was made in glossy white slumped glass that is accented with colorful fused glass dots and black waves. The body houses a 2-mirror, 8-point system with a dry, turning, front lit, glass object cell containing Charles' handmade signature glass-worked bits and pieces, tiny glass ampules containing itty-bitty beads, and Dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces, with a translucent background that has red/orange/yellow/blue speckles of color. 'Chroma Wave' produces absolutely crisp, meticulously detailed, and completely spectacular "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery, even better than my photos show. Measures approximately 10"T x 3"Diameter at the object cell end. Numbered (1/6), dated (2026), and signed (CSKaradimos) by the artist.
