'Cosmic Kaleidoscope' is a meticulously crafted, highly collectable handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Carol & Tom Paretti. The body features a hand-painted, texturally raised surface in black, pearly white, and gold, and each 'Cosmic' scope was uniquely one-of-a-kind, as no two painted surfaces were created alike. The body houses a 2-mirror, 5-point system, making a star-shape inside the mandala-style imagery, additionally, on the third side of the mirror system is a reeded piece of Babinga wood that creates a subtle texture in the areas surrounding the central mandala design, very cool. There is a turning, oil-filled, side lit, object cell with genuine leather in red that has a black star inlay, attached to the bottom of the cell end. Inside the cell you'll find an array of vivid and absolutely delightful handmade lamp-worked glass pieces, fused dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces, and interesting bits of hand-painted creative fun. This vintage scope is in absolute perfect condition that any collector proud to show off. Measures approximately 8.75"T x 2.25"Diameter at viewing end x 3.25"Diameter at the cell end.
