'Green - 2002' (COLLECTORS ALERT!) is a fantastical handheld kaleidoscope by renowned American kaleidoscope artists Luc and Sallie Durette. The body was created in gorgeous soft green stained wood with golden Brass end-caps. The body houses both a modified, repeating 2-mirror, 6-point system, creating an absolutely crisp and spectacular pattern of "mandala-style" kaleidoscope imagery. There is a turning, oil-filled, side lit, black backgrounded object cell containing handmade lamp-worked glass pieces, a plethora of beads in every color of the rainbow, shimmery dichroic (color shifting) glass bits and other sparkly things. Measures approximately 7.75"L x 2.25"Diameter. Signed (Durette '02) by the artists.
