'High Flyer' is a 28 year old, limited edition (COLLECTORS ALERT), parlor/handheld kaleidoscope by renowned scope maker and stained glass artist, Janice Chesnik. This handsome piece has a highly polished, solid Brass body that is oval shaped and has textured areas on each side surface. Inside you'll find a spectacular 2-mirror, 14-point system. There are four object wheels created with the Chesnik's own handmade millefiori glass pieces and stained glass. This kaleidoscope can be viewed as both a parlor OR a handheld scope, simply by lifting it off of its gorgeous Lacewood base. Stunning and classic "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery can be seen inside of this wonderful, vintage work of art. Entire piece measures approximately 10.75"T x 10"D x 4"W at the base. Scope itself is 10.25"L x 2.25"T x 1"W, and the wheels are about 3"Diameter. Dated (©1998), numbered (#231/250), and signed (Janice Chesnik) by the artist.
