"Jupiter in Canary Wood" is the creation of artist Michael Redmond. The body is made from Canary Wood and features a side-lit, double-curved, acrylic, object wand that was fabricated by Michael and then filled with his own handmade, lampworked glass pieces. The 3-dimensional design of "Jupiter" and it's unusual wand accentuate the creative flow of this unique sculptural art piece. To view "Jupiter", while looking through the viewing port in the bottom of the scope, tilt the wand at a comfortable angle so the lampworked glass can flow freely past the mirrors in a continuous burst of color. Scope is a 3-mirror system, measures approximately 20.5"T x 8"W x 5.5" in Diameter at the base, and it weighs around 3.5 lbs.
