"Jupiter" is the creation of artist Michael Redmond. Made from beautiful hardwoods, with a double curved acrylic wand fabricated by Michael, and filled with his own handmade lampworked glass. The 3-dimensional design of "Jupiter" and the unique, double curved wand accentuate the creative flow of this unique art piece. The design of the unique wand, with a black background, makes this a side-lit kaleidoscope. When viewing "Jupiter", tilt the wand at a comforable angle and the lampworked glass will flow freely past the mirros in a continuous burst of colorful imagery. This scope contains a 3-mirror system and measures approximately 19.5"T x 10"W x 5" in diameter at the base.
