'Lil Quartz Lazy-Susan' is a cheerful parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Steve Failows. This handmade ceramic scope features a glossy, crackled glaze in white with blue and grey speckles, features a natural Crystal Quartz cluster accent, and has an iridescent white glass base. A hand thrown ceramic "lazy-Susan" bowl rotates on ball bearings, making a smooth viewing experience. Included with the scope are glass pebbles in a variety of colors, but you can also add other items into the bowl such as spare change, jewelry, tiny ornaments, ... anything you can imagine, and turn them into wickedly cool kaleidoscopic imagery through the 3-mirror system. Endless possibilities for viewing enjoyment, this scope is a total "people pleaser" and would be a unique gift to give. Piece measures approximately 8.75"T x 10"D at the base, the bowl is around 5"Diameter, and the scope itself is about 6"L. Signed (S. Failows) by the artist.
