'S Series - Collaboration' is a sleek and modern handheld kaleidoscope collaboration by Japanese artists Tomoo Hosono and Motohiro Sato. The body is brushed stainless steel cylinder that houses a 2-mirror, 4-point system. The enclosed object cell is non-turning and polarized (color shifting), with BOTH oil-filled and dry chambers, creating spectacular square/diamond shaped kaleidoscopic imagery in a plethora of changing colors. If you move your light source around the cell end you'll be treated to color changes without having to turn the scope, try it in direct sunlight and different types of lighting such as LED or UV Blacklight too. Measures approximately 4"L x 1.25" diameter and is signed by the artists.
