'View Our World' is a handsome parlor kaleidoscope by American artists Stephen & Sherry Hopkins. The body was created with gorgeous Cocobolo wood that has been "book-matched", making the design luxuriously sleek and sexy. Inside are DUEL, tapered, 3-mirror systems that each create it's own large spherical kaleidoscopic image, which can be viewed by two people simultaneously through the gigantic double viewing ports. There are FOUR interchangeable, turning, oil-filled object cells that contain custom created lamp-worked glass pieces, dichroic (color shifting) glass, vintage costume jewelry parts, and glass ampules filled with teeny beads. Note; try moving a light source around the cell at different angles to change the imagery colors without turning the cell, cool! Measures approximately 10"T x 11"D x 10"W, object cells are 4"Diameter. Titled (V.O.W.), dated (2016), numbered (12/25) and signed (S2Jerome Hopkins) by the artists.
